One of the leading manufacturers of electronic home appliances, LCD televisions and notebooks, Samsung Electronics, has announced that, it has won 23 CES Innovation Awards at the prestigious Consumer Electronics Show 2010, where the company displayed its latest line of state of the art electronic products. Amongst the awards won by the firm, three of them have put the company in the “Best of Innovation” category. For the CES 2010, Samsung came out with mobile phones, televisions home theater systems, digital audio equipments and digital cameras.
The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), that organizes the CES, has been giving out these awards since the year 1976, to the companies that bring in the best of the innovative consumer electronic products. Samsung has so far bagged more than a hundred of CES Innovation Awards since last three years and with the 23 awards for this year alone, Samsung has proven yet again, that the company is very much consumer oriented and maintains its focus on bringing the best of electronic products to make our lives that much easier.
The world’s slimmest LED HDTV, Samsung UNXXC9000 was one of the products that grabbed the CES Best of Innovation 2010 award. This all new revolutionary TV, comes with a touch screen remote control and provides incredible theater like picture and sound. Another product to be featured in the category was the Samsung BD-C6900 the first of its kind 3D blu-ray player, that provides life like picture with high definition surround sound.
Samsung was also bestowed upon with the honoree award for its wide range of products, that include a wide range of LED HDTVs along with blu-ray players, digital cameras, one plasma TV etc. Samsung’s Reclaim (SPH-m560) won the Eco-Design and Sustainable Technology Award as the device is the first of its kind to be introduced in the American markets, which is built entirely from bio-plastic materials and has become the only mobile phone in the entire CES 2010 lineup to achieve this award.
