Luxury world has recently started witnessing some real cool collaborations and detours. We mean how one luxury brand joins hands with another one to concoct a real treat of a fine item. And then there are occasions when say fashion house will create some spectacular furniture for homes that afford it. These are just a couple of situation we just love to hear and talk about. Take this instance where Porsche Design goes on board with Adidas to create a new collection of footwear as part of the spring/summer 2010.
The theme is ‘water/snow’ and from what we hear, these kickass shoes are not meant for just Porsche fans alone. In fact, any discering collector of real cool shoes would be more than happy to own one of these. Very smooth, this collection indeed knows how to keep a low profile while making a real strong impact.
The AC bowman is the highpoint of the entire range as it has been tested and engineered in cooperation with Jochen Shümann, who by the way is a three time Olympic gold medalist and two time America’s Cup winner for sailing. Leather and mesh uppers along with adiPRENE® technology comprise this pair of shoe.
