Google Android mobile operating system since its launch has caused ripples across the mobile phone industry, as more and more handset manufacturers are turning to the latest platform at the speed of light. After the immense success achieved by Droid handset, Motorola, one of the biggest cell phone makers in the world has unveiled yet another Google Android powered handset at the Consumer Electronics Show 2010 (CES), called the BACKFLIP.
Motorola BACKFLIP sports a full QWERTY keyboard, giving the users fast and effective handling of the device and the device is powered by MOTOBLUR, which is the supped up version of Google Android, providing an efficient platform for connectivity between smart phones and social networking applications such as Facebook, Twitter, Gmail etc.
According to Sanjay Jha (CEO, Motorola Mobile Devices),
“Since introducing our first MOTOBLUR-based device, we’ve remained focused on differentiating the Android experience and bringing it to new carrier partners around the globe. BACKFLIP maximizes the multi-tasking and multi-functional potential of MOTOBLUR with its unique design elements, making it as smart as it is social.”
