FV TouchCam N1, the new HD Webcam from FaceVsion certified by Skype was unveiled at the CES 2010. Unlike most of the existing HD Webcams that give a lot of problems when accessing HD video communication while using Skype, FV TouchCam N1 faces no such problems. The cool webcam comes with an embedded H.264 codec chip and dual microphones, which support beam forming techniques.
Hence, the Webcam offers synchronized, crystal-clear 720p HD video and a very high quality over a broadband internet connection. You can connect the FV TouchCam N1 to a PC using USB plug. The good news is the webcam comes with a flexible universal base that fits on any monitor anywhere in the world.
As of now, the HD video calling is supported in Skype for Windows 4.2 beta. The webcam will soon work with other instant messaging applications such as Yahoo or Windows Live Messenger. The FV TouchCam N1 will be available by the end of this month at faceVsion’s Website for $129. This sounds cool! I am definitely going to lay my hands on this cool webcam and enjoy my video calling activities.
