Yuneec has announced that its two-seat all-electric aircraft, the e430 will be available for purchase in 2011. The airplane has been flying for the past six months and is ready to be shipped. The electrically powered aircraft costs just two dollars per hour to fly.
The first planes will cost just $89,000 and will offer a flight time of 1.5 to 3 hours. If the batteries run out midflight, the aircrafts 25:1 glide ration will ensure that you have plenty of time to find a place to land.
