Club Racer Elise Expected to be Unveiled By Lotus at Frankfurt Motor Show


Lotus has announced a special edition Club Racer Elise that will be officially unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The car comes with “exclusive” club racer interior design features that include microfiber comfort pads on the seats, which are claimed to give the “right amount of support” for minimal amount of weight. Other features include anthracite anodized gear knob and handbrake sleeve, anodized aluminum flooring for the driver and passenger footwell, leather rimmed steering wheel, and CR logo hand embroidered on head rests.

The Club Racer moves on lightweight, six spoke alloy wheels shod in bespoke Yokohama AD07 LTS tyres. The Special Edition Elise Club Racer is based on the 134hp Elise S, and has a zero to 60mph time of 5.7 seconds, while providing a fuel economy of 37.2 mpg and emissions at 179g/km of CO2.
