It hasn’t been long since we saw a wireless keyboard from Miyoshi that integrates a touchpad. Whatever that may have been stuck in there for, it did look impressive. Adesso not really associated with keyboards felt lured to do the same their own way and they’ve managed it well with the newly unveiled AKB-440.
Featuring a trackpad built-in with GlidePoint technology, which prevents a separate mouse to be used in tandem with the full QWERTY keyboard, it also supports horizontal and vertical scrolling along right/left mouse clicking. The keyboard features a metallic lining and a piano finish and supports a host of multimedia ports making the keyboard good for almost all needs including home entertainment functions like HTPCs.
The A AKB-440 is made compatible with Windows Vista, XP and 2000 and Mac OS X. Available over at Adesso, the prospective buyers can get the keyboard for $60.
