Even after being the most abundant element in the universe hydrogen doesn’t seem to be catching up with use in automobiles due to the lack of adequate refueling infrastructure. Designers are working on prototypes and concepts of next-gen hydrogen refueling stations, which just like the fuel, will be completely different from traditional refueling stations.
Industrial designer Paul Vela envisions hydrogen refueling, with the goal to create a new form language. The new design will serve to differentiate the clean fuels of tomorrow like hydrogen from petroleum based ones of today and the change that these new fuels represent.
