The Tablet Mac Conceived by Yvan of Switzerland’s Cosm!k’ Art Deco Team - - Powered by An Apple iBook G4 Laptop

Sometimes the wait and the excitement to see something you’re waiting for very eagerly can be given a breather with a thing that can mimic it to an extent. This touchscreen coffee table casemod projected as the Tablet Mac is perhaps here for just that. So, we can believe this to be what we can do with the handheld Mac Tablet when Apple finally does it.

Conceived by Yvan of Switzerland’s Cosm!k’ Art Deco Team, the Tablet Mac here is powered by an Apple iBook G4 laptop, running OSX Tiger, and has a 37-inch flat panel LCD that completes the coffee table with a about perfect touchscreen prowess. With only cables sticking out for power, the table has a DVD loading slot fitted in there, and has six tactile control buttons around the perimeter of the display. Check the video demonstration after the jump.

In case the six buttons and a scroll wheel aren’t enough, the coffee table comes laden with a wireless keyboard and mouse. The Mac Table coffee table casemod, does lack a few features to actually set it up there with the geniuses, yet with all limited capabilities, it’s a sufficient device to control favorite tracks in iTunes and to play those video clips.
