Today’s cameras seem to get bigger and bigger, trying to fit as many features as possible into their shells. With their latest offering, Samsung goes against the flow with the ST45, a slim and light offering that’s perfect for those who like taking photos, but aren’t really all that keen on lugging around that extra weight around their necks.
Samsung’s ST45 comes in at a sexy thickness of only 16mm, but packs features that are found in large cameras, such as blink, beauty, and smile detections. It also offers a respectable 5x zoom, a 12MP sensor, and a 2.7-inch QVGA screen. The brushed aluminum casing isn’t shabby, either.
The ST45 is a great choice for users who aren’t that gifted with scene selection, with 11 scene modes and a smart scene selector to choose the best shot to take in any situation. These nifty little features let you, or whoever you asked to take your picture, take surprisingly good shots.
There isn’t any news on how much this sexy little thing is going to cost, but it’s expected that prices and release information will be available in a few days.
