THE THINNEST FAN BY SUNON IN KAOHSIUNG, TAIWAN

When electronic gadgets are getting smaller by the day, a modest induction to compliment the transformation would be a fan that’s thinnest ever made. Awarded with the silver award at 2009 National Invention and Creation contest, the 3mm fan is touted as the thinnest in the world. Conceptualized by Sunon in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, the fan is 1mm thinner than the previously reckoned thinnest fan. The company has patented its development, and once into production the fans will propel strong cooling into gadgets they find refuge in.
